VIC - Freedom Drive
We've forgotton what freedom feels like during this lockdown. Once the crisis is over, come and join us for a long drive and a meal.
We are looking at heading out towards Healesville this Sunday morning.
We will be observing Vic state regulations, and in the event we have over 20 registrations, we will simply split the departure into two teams, one from Moonee Ponds and one from Richmond. If we do need to go down that route, I will be in touch with you all to confirm your desired departure location
We will head out from Richmond, and drive to the Beechworth Bakery in Healesville to buy our lunch and then head to somewhere close by for a picnic. You are more than welcome to bring your own picnic lunch along if you prefer :)
I am looking for suggestions for a good picnic spot, so if you know of one please let me know!
After lunch, for those that want to drive a bit further, we will head on along the Black Spur road to Narbethong and then onto Marysville / return, otherwise you are free to choose your own fun. There are some great places to visit such as:
- Healesville Glass Blowing Studio
- Yarra Valley Railway
- Healesville Sanctuary
- Four Pillars Distillery
...as well as many more options: https://visityarravalley.com.au/healesville
