NSW - Family Day Out - Fruit picking!

Pack your bags for a fun family day out! The Canoelands Orchard is 100 acres of fruit and veg that has been in the same family for almost 100 years. Approximately 60 minutes from Sydney, combine a scenic drive with some great activities to do with your family. On our day out, we expect to be able to pick Eggplants, Strawberries, Tamarillo, Persimmon Figs, Lemons, Limes, and Tomatoes.

Unfortunately, the pasta sauce portion of the day has been cancelled. Everything else will be going ahead.

Fruit and Veg picking will be at cost direct to the Orchard.

The Orchard has a Cafe onsite for Coffee and basic food, although the menu is limited so you may want to bring some additional food or plan on stopping for lunch on the way home. Bathroom facilities are available.

Standard COVID-19 procedures apply, and QR codes will be available to sign in on arrival.

On Arrival:

The Orchards address is: 27-29 Canoelands Rd, Canoelands

There will be a staff member directing us to a reserved Tesla parking area. Once that area is full, any remaining cars will be directed to other parking areas. The Orchard will be open to the public on the day.

Activities

Before we go out to pick the orchard, one of the staff members is going to give us a talk about what's available as well as some info about the fruit. Then it will be up to us to explore the farm, pick the fruit and veges, say hello to the animals, and hopefully still have enough time left over to check out the cars!

Payment

There is a small entry fee to the Orchard, and cost of the fruit and veg that you end up picking, both paid direct to the orchard on the day. Dine and Discover vouchers are available to be used.

Charging

Given the close proximity to Sydney, I do not expect anybody to have range issues on the day.
