NSW - Christmas Family Day and Bootcamp

With the Christmas Season fast approaching, let's get together and do something fun! Firstly, sorry for the late notice. I wasn't sure whether it would be worth doing something this year, but life is returning to normal quicker than I thought it would so I'm playing catch up.

On the 5th December we'll be visiting the HARS aviation museum at Wollongong Airport. This is always a fun day out, and there are lots of things to see and do that the entire family will enjoy. For the new owners amongst us, you're welcome to join us early at 9:30 and we'll run a mini bootcamp for an hour to help you get better acquainted with your new cars. The main start time will be at 10:30, where we'll all go on tours and get to see lots of aircraft and listen to various people who have flown and/or maintained these aircraft. All of the staff are volunteers, and most of them have previously worked for Qantas.

Cost

$25 for Adults

$20 for Seniors

$10 for kids, however; TOCA will cover the cost of kids for this event

Getting there

The museum is located at: Shellharbour Airport, 54 Airport Rd, Albion Park Rail NSW 2527

Once you arrive, all Teslas will be ushered "airside" onto the airport tarmac and will be parked near some aircraft. Please follow the staff instructions and directions, once on the airport tarmac you're considered to be in a secure environment and the HARS staff are required to monitor everybodys movements. Please bring a camera, I expect it will be an awesome photo opportunity.

I don't expect there to be any range issues on the day, but I have included the following info for anybody who would like it.

Berry Supercharger to Wollongong Airport: 47kms

Shell Cover Fast Charger (Chargefox) to Wollongong Airport: 9 kms

Broadway Supercharger to Wollongong Airport: 106 kms

Lunch

Sausage sizzle and a drink for $10 will be available on the day. Complimentary tea and coffee available. The in house cafe is running at a much reduced capacity, barista coffee will be available, however; the food options will be limited and not known until the day. HARS has no problem if you'd like to bring food with you.
