VIC - Heathcote Park Raceway Test and Tune

To kick off the TOCA Victoria motorsport calendar, we are going to visit Heathcote Park Raceway for their weekly Test and Tune. You will be able to run many quarter miles down the drag strip either against other members of the public or your fellow club members. 

Requirements

Full safety requirements can be found on the HPR website. It is critical that you familiarise yourself with these. In particular:

• long trousers,
• long sleeve shirt or jacket
• enclosed shoes
• an approved crash helmet. These can be hired on site from the timing office.
• If you violate any of the safety regulations you can expect to be thrown off site.

Your vehicle will be subject to scrutineering, to ensure that your vehicle is safe to run. Since our Teslas are all road legal, this should not be a problem unless you plan to run faster than 10s (in which case you will need a parachute!)

Costs

Drag Entry Fee: (Test & Tune only) $100 – Admits Driver and Vehicle Only
Drag Spectator Fee: (Test & Tune only) $25 – Admits Spectator Only
Drag Buddy Fee: (Test & Tune only) $35 – Admits Buddy and Spectator Only

Charging

Supercharging is available at Bendigo (Kennington Supercharger) and there are two 22kW destination chargers on site. Note that for maximum performance it is suggested that you charge your car to 100%. Richard will be driving from Melbourne to Kennington where he will charge to 100% and then to Heathcote where he will top up at the destination chargers.
