NSW TOCA warmly extends an invitation to all TOCA members, along with their families and friends, to join us for this memorable experience, as we approach the conclusion of the bustling year in 2023!
This will be an unforgettable gathering that promises to be a perfect blend of networking, discovery, and family fun, as we experience the rich history and witness the major engineering feat of the Warragamba Dam, a truly iconic infrastructure marvel. We look forward to seeing you soon!
Agenda:
- Immerse yourself in the stunning vistas of the Warragamba Dam, the vast Lake Burragorang, and the auxiliary spillway.
- Enjoy a delightful picnic in the expansive dam grounds, surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty (please bring your own food, drinks, and picnic rugs).
- Learn from the interactive displays and hands-on activities at the Visitor Centre, where friendly information officers are on hand to enrich your experience.
- Let the kids explore numerous engaging, hands-on activities in the Burragorang Room.

Visitor Code:
- Supervise children at all times.
- Follow all signs and instructions provided by WaterNSW staff or security personnel.
- Please respect the local wildlife and other visitors.
- Dispose of rubbish in the bins provided.
Important Information for Your Visit:
- Please be aware that parts of the walk are exposed and steep. We recommend wearing appropriate walking shoes.
- Ensure you are adequately protected from the sun by wearing sunscreen and a hat, as there is limited shade available at the dam.
- Stay hydrated; bring a water bottle with you. There are bubblers and bottle refill stations along the way.
- Be mindful of snakes and other wildlife that may be in the area.
- Watch your step and be aware of uneven surfaces.
Restrictions:
- No pets are allowed.
- Solid fuel barbecues are prohibited; however, portable gas barbecues are permitted except during total fire bans.
- Alcohol is not permitted.
- Please refrain from using bicycles, skateboards, or roller-blades on the dam wall, visitor centre stairs, ramp, or forecourt.
- Climbing on any structure is strictly prohibited.
- Do not throw objects off the dam wall or viewing platforms.
- The use of model aircraft or drones is not allowed.
