ACT and regional NSW - Group drive to Yarrangobilly Caves

Attention TOCA Members in ACT and Regional NSW! Join our road trip to Yarrangobilly Caves on April 20th!

Get ready for an exhilarating adventure as we navigate the scenic roads less travelled, exploring hidden gems and enjoying breathtaking landscapes. Here's everything you need to know:

Date & Meeting Point: Saturday April 20th, 7am Calwell High School car park

Plan for the Day:

• Leave Calwell at 7am
• Arrive Cooma for a coffee/charging break.
• Drive via Snowy Mountains Highway to Yarrangobilly Caves
• Choose between a picnic or BBQ lunch (BYO), cave tours, thermal pools, or simply enjoy the day out. 
• Depart Yarrangobilly around 5pm

What You Will Need to Bring:

• Picnic or BBQ food
• Sunscreen, hat, and drinking water
• Sturdy shoes (for cave tours)
• Towel and bathers (for thermal pools)

Costs:

• Park entry: $4 per car (pay on arrival if you don't have a Kosciuszko Annual Pass or All NSW National Parks pass)
• Thermal pool entry is covered by park ticket

Charging: 

• There is no fast charging at the park; Cooma is the closest. The park has power points, but you will need to bring a long extension cord.
