TOCA NSW "Lunch at the Incinerator"
TOCA NSW invites you to visit the Incinerator
and Flat Rock Gully Walk
Join TOCA friends at the Walter Burley-Griffin Incinerator, Willoughby and enjoy a walk in the nearby Flat Rock Gully.
The Incinerator was designed by Walter Burley-Griffin, built in 1934 and operated as an incinerator till the 1970s. It is now a heritage-listed building with a café and art exhibition space.
Currently, the art space is closed due to flooding from recent heavy rain. Hopefully, it will reopen for our visit on the 26th.
We will meet at 10am on the lower carpark off Small St (marked on the map) for photos and Tesla chats.
At 10.30 we will head off on the Flat Rock Gully Walk, then head back to the nearby Incinerator Cafe for coffee and lunch.
There are two walking options:
-
For those who enjoy a stroll, there are the paved pathways though the reserve and a visit to Henry Lawson cave.
-
For the active and energetic, the Wilksch’s Walk and Dawson Street Track is a wonderful bush track circuit through the Flat Rock Gully. This is a bush track that is unpaved, with many bush steps and can have uneven surfaces. It takes over an hour to walk, but is well worth doing.
Lunch will be at the Incinerator Café, 2a Small St

This is a family friendly event, so you can bring the kids and dogs. Dogs on leads can go on both walks. For the walk, we recommend you bring some bottled water and a hat.
Please note this event will only be held in fine weather.

FAQ #1: What is this "MEMBER JUNGLE APP" and why is it so important?
The Member Jungle app provides a great way to keep up to date with upcoming events and news, access your membership card for member benefits, check your membership details and contact the club.
Instructions for downloading and setting up the app can be found at:
https://www.teslaowners.org.au/app
FAQ #2: "I've been a Tesla owner for a while. Could I volunteer to help run TOCA and EV-related events?"
Yes! I've had a lot of requests from people wanting to share their love of EVs and assist TOCA at EV-related events. Without volunteers, we won't be able to give as much to the Tesla and EV community. We welcome experienced Tesla owners to help us answer the commonly asked and difficult-to-answer questions at expo's like this! Come along if you have questions of your own.
Please email me and let me know if you are in a position to volunteer: steven.du@teslaowners.org.au
