The Bendigo Art Gallery is hosting an exclusive to Australia exhibition titled "Paris: Impressions of Life 1880–1925," which offers a unique glimpse into the vibrant and transformative era of Parisian history.
Because of its world-class reputation, the Bendigo Art Gallery has been able to directly borrow displays and exhibits from the renowned Musée Carnavalet - History of Paris.
The exhibition features over 170 works of art and artisan objects that capture the essence of Paris during a period of significant social change and artistic innovation.
You can explore seven themed pathways, immersing yourself in the bustling streets, grand boulevards, and the Bohemian spirit of Montmartre, as depicted by prominent artists of the time.
The exhibition is a testament to the enduring allure of Paris, showcasing its influence on global design, architecture, and culture.
Tickets are available via the TOCA Member Jungle app at $25 per person.
