TAS - Bizarre Drive to Nowhere Else
TOCA's Bizarre Drive is upon us, and what is more bizarre than going to Nowhere Else?
We will gather - hopefully from all around the state - for lunch at Blacksmith Cafe and Grill in Sheffield at midday! Afterwards, we will take a scenic drive through mystically named places such as Nowhere Else and Promised Land!
It would be great to see a big contingent of owners from the north and north-west of the state for this one. Group drives originating from particular cities can be organised if there is enough demand from individual locations!
Times:
Travel time to Sheffield is approximately 50 minutes from Burnie, 30 minutes from Devonport, 1 hour 10 minutes from Launceston, 3 hours from Hobart.
- 11:30am–12pm: meet in the car park near the lunch venue.
- 12pm: lunch at Blacksmith Cafe and Grill
- 1.30pm–2:30pm: depart for a group drive around the Nowhere Else/Promised Land area. We will stop for a group photo if there are any particularly scenic opportunities with space for our cars!
Timing here is variable based on exact stops - some people may want to head off early!
Charging:
- There is a 22 kW DC Electric Highway Tasmania charger in Sheffield, not far from the lunch venue.
- Most Tesla models will not need to charge for the entire return trip if they depart from almost any major centre in the north or north-west of the state.
- If coming from further afield, the 350 kW DC Evie Networks charger in Westbury is the last major ultra-rapid charging stop before Sheffield.
