ACT TOCA - World Christmas Lightshow

About the Event

Organisers of the Global Lightshow video have invited TOCA to join in the fun by creating a Christmas Lightshow Event on Saturday 13 December 2025 at 2045 hrs (or when dark).  The Lightshow will be recorded and sent to the organiser for inclusion in a TOC Global video.

TOCA participated previously in the Global LightShow "May the 4th Be With You" Star Wars themed event with over 35 countries participating. TOCA also participated in the Christmas LightShow last year.

Registration

The more cars we have the better. Let's make the ACT a big showing for this event.  Register below and Full details including a link to the Lightshow download will be emailed to attendees. **IMPORTANT** - please commit to attending by registering. Each car is given a number in the pattern design and no-shows can ruin a great event.  Please be mindful of this and de-register if you find you cannot attend as early as possible. Once registrations close, you will need to email ACT@teslaowners.org.au to de-register.

Note that the Lightshow will only work with Model 3s and Ys in Australia. Pre-2023 Model S and Model Xs will not work.

Time: 2045 hrs (8.45 PM)

Date: Saturday 13 December 2024

Place: Mawson Playing Fields off Beasley Street.

Permit Requirements

 - Marshalls will be in attendance for safety.

 - All vehicles must have their hazard lights on when moving onto and around the LightShow location.

 - Vehicles must only drive no faster than walking speed.

 - a Marshall must be within 5 meters of each vehicle when moving.

LightShow USB

Please bring your own USB properly formatted with the LightShow pre-loaded. Please test the LightShow works at home before attending the event. The LightShow file link will be emailed to attendees closer to the event.

Vehicle Preparation

Please ensure your vehicle is washed and suitably prepared for filming.

Please also check to ensure the vehicle's clock is in sync with your phone's clock (Telstra SIM cards in phones should match exactly the time in your car display). This is key to ensure all cars are in Sync for the LightShow. For non-Telstra phone SIMs, your car display should be within a few seconds of your phone.
