Get ready for an exhilarating adventure as we navigate the scenic roads less travelled, exploring hidden gems and enjoying breathtaking landscapes. Here's everything you need to know:

Date & Meeting Point: Saturday 28 February 2026, 7am Calwell High School car park

Plan for the Day:

• Leave Calwell at 7am
• Arrive Cooma for a coffee/charging break.
• Drive via Snowy Mountains Highway to Yarrangobilly Caves
• Choose between a picnic or BBQ lunch (BYO), cave tours, thermal pools, or simply enjoy the day out. 
• Depart Yarrangobilly around 5pm

What You Will Need to Bring

• Picnic or BBQ food
• Sunscreen, hat, and drinking water
• Sturdy shoes (for cave tours)
• Towel and bathers (for thermal pools)
• Insect repellent

Costs

• Park entry: $4 per car (pay on arrival if you don't have a Kosciuszko Annual Pass or All NSW National Parks pass)
• Thermal pool entry is covered by park ticket

Charging

• There is no fast charging at the park; Cooma is the closest. The park has power points, but you will need to bring a long extension cord. The power points are often unavailable. We will have enough as we will charge at Cooma.
