VIC - Cars & Coffee February
Come and talk Teslas over a coffee at the historic Gaol Café in Kilmore (be good or you’ll be locked up with Ned Kelly’s ancestors!).
What3Words reference: ///bottleneck.bewildered.evenings. Menu here.
Ample free unmetered parking in the street. 6x Tesla Superchargers are 1.3km away outside BWS and Woolworths, Kilmore. Learn more about the Old Kilmore Gaol in Wikipedia.
After breakie there’s plenty to see in the historic town of Kilmore, including several bluestone churches and a few pubs. Nearby there’s Romsey, Lancefield, Mt Macedon, Picnic at Hanging Rock, and Woodend. On the way back to the Hume Highway (M31) there’s the picturesque sleepy estate known as Hidden Valley.
For those that are interested, please join TOCA member Mark Read at his home in Beveridge (Ned Kelly’s parents' house is still there) for a look at and test of his Sigenergy 25kW bidirectional EVDC charger (V2X) which works perfectly with his 2023 MY RWD (should work with any CSS2 compatible EV but he's yet to test – volunteers?). We’ll meet at the Mandalay Golfing Estate club car park 12:00pm (public toilets available) and from there take just a few cars to Mark's house (narrow street so too many cars will cause an issue).
