ACT TOCA Sunday Drive - coffee, sights and lunch at EasyBoy (lunch arrangements changed below)!
We'll start with coffee at Cafe Blanco in Kambah before we wend our way through Weston Creek and along the Cotter Road to check out the Cotter Dam. Cafe Blanco suggests that if you want to start with breakfsat there or even just want to start with a sit down coffee, you should arrive before 9:30am to be on the road by 10am. For takeaway drinks they suggested arriving around 9:45am.
From Kambah we'll drive to the Cotter Dam for a spectacular view before we drive along Uriarra Road past the Uriarra Village before we cross the scenic Uriarra Crossing and head back towards Stromlo Park, the home pof organised cycling in Canberra. From there its down to John Gorton Drive and along to the new Coppins Crossing Bridge. The Bridge is due to open in late 2026 but no date has yet been advised.

Whether we drive under the bridge or get to go across it, we'll get to see an impressive structure.
Once we've passed the bridge we'll head to the Scullin local centre to dine at the impressive Easy Boy! Restaurant. With feedback received we have decided to make the FeedMe offering optional. Instead of pre-booking lunch we will take advantage of the ability to walk in and get a table. This will probably mean we can't all sit together but lets see what happens on the day? The food is fantastic and if you have allergies or dietary restrictions they are happy to modify their offerings, including the FeedMe option if you choose it. They are also happy to cater for vegans.
After lunch you might like to wander down to Sweet Bones for a coffee and/or pastry. Both Cafe Blanco and Sweet Bones were visited by our Coffee Club earlier this year and both were well regarded by the attendees.
We will be limiting registrations to 20 persons rather than a number of cars. Provided the weather is fine and depending on registration numbers, we will be allocated one or two long tables outside the restaurant, so please think about sun protection!
