Qld Event - Sandstone Point Hotel
Hi Everyone,
Confirming that we are having a TESLA MEET at Sandstone Point Hotel on Sunday 25th November.
It would be great if you could join us for what is probably the last TESLA Meet for 2018.
It’s a lovely venue on the Pumicestone Passage overlooking Bribie Island.
We will be lining our cars up on the grass as we did two years ago and hopefully will get some drone footage on the day.
Plenty of food available at the hotel. Attached map of the area with instructions for parking.
Kindly advise if you are joining the group, and the names of the people attending.
Hope to see you there!

With dry weather conditions the Sandstone Point Hotel Management prefers us to use the “Preferred Car Entrance” due to previous experiences with Police not being happy and writing out fines when customers were abusing the “Alternate Car Entrance” because it’s located too close to the bridge and they were blocking traffic.
Coming from the Bruce Highway, you can reach Sandstone Point Hotel via the entrance at Bribie Island Road or via the entrance at Bestmann Road. Both entrances will lead you to the roundabout where entrance A will be indicated. It basically consists of a metal wired gate that leads to the lawn to be crossed over to reach 2 Tesla Event Parking.
Please take notice of the curb and slightly uneven terrain when entering. I tested it with low suspension and it shouldn’t be an issue if you go over it slowly!
In case of wet weather or a soggy lawn you may opt to get to our Tesla Event Parking using the Alternate Car Entrance B but you are not able to cross the Bribie Island Rd at that particular spot. You will need to drive over the Bribie Bridge and use the first roundabout to come back to entrance B
