TOCA QLD O'Reilly's Canungra Valley Vineyards lunch
The O'Reilly's Canungra Valley Vineyard is about 1 hr 40 mins from Brisbane down the Mt Lindsay Highway. The vineyard opens at 10am and they would prefer us to be there by 10:30 to ensure we have parked our cars together along the driveway at the entrance, before the general public start to fill the main carpark area.
The venue will be in the Wine Cellar around the back of the restaurant building, with tables and seating. Ladies should consider jackets as it could be cool indoors.
Lunch will be provided ($45 for entree and main - including plunger coffee and tea). Plates will be served alternative drop. If you prefer the other option to what you are served, please swap with those around you.
If you wish to add a dessert you can choose and pay on the day.
As the venue holds a liquor licence, they cannot allow private food/drinks on the estate.
Entrees will be:
Artichoke and goats cheese crumble, rocket & pickled pear
Tian of prawn and avocado, with gazpacho salad
Vegan (also GF/onion & garlic free): Half an avocado stuffed with salad.
Mains will be:
Mustard rubbed fillet of beef, sea salt potatoes, glazed baby beetroot, red wine jus
Baked barramundi, colcannon potato, black olive gremolata, chive beurre blanc
Vegan (also GF/onion & garlic free): Chickpea curry on a bed of fluffy rice with pappadums
There will be a presentation by Linda Röhrs who very recently completed a solo, electric-only circumnavigation of Australia in her 100D Model S - "Carpe Noctem".
There could also be a surprise presentation.
No charging at the venue itself. There is a destination charger at the O'Reilly's Guest House, or the Tesla Supercharger at Broadbeach is 42km/45mins away.
