SA - Port Augusta - Green Power Festival - POSTPONED

This will be re-organised when the CORONA VIRUS situation is under control.

Business Port Augusta will be hosting the inaugural Green Power Festival during early April 2020 in Port Augusta. This will be the first renewable energy festival in South Australia. It will be a large-scale event with a variety of activities on offer, targeted at people living and travelling across the region.

he Green Fair will be the major community event of the festival, free for all to attend and held on Saturday April 4, 2020 in the centre of Port Augusta. This will offer a Green Power Expo, Sustainability Market, kids entertainment, interactive science, music, dance, art exhibitions, delicious food and more! We expect 2000+ people to attend.

The Green Power Expo will be a key attraction at the Green Fair. Never before have the upper Spencer Gulf communities had the chance to discover all the renewable energy information, projects, products and opportunities in one place.

The Green Power Expo will be where your business or organisation will be able to connect with the people of the upper Spencer Gulf region, promote your message, showcase and sell your offerings.

A regional and coordinated three-month marketing campaign is planned to run across print, radio, TV, online and via social media platforms to attract people to the festival.

For the club I am looking for some cars to exhibit for the show on the 4th April.
 

The organiser is looking for some "solid" commitment pretty soon and so far I have David Cann and myself will be travelling up there. (Both Model 3's - Long Range and Performance) with some possibly camping/CARmping overnight and travelling back to Adelaide on Sunday.  (There are hotels up there..)

Would love to get a Model S and Model X involved too to complete the family !!!

The whole trip from Adeliade is about 307kms

There is a Supercharger in Adelaide and Clare and some destination charging in Port Augusta (need to confirm)

Also a possible drive-by the "Hornsdale Tesla Battery" if time permits and interest !!! - (50kms extra) - just to say we've done it !
