For the third year, TOCA Hunter Valley locals displayed cars at the Upper Hunter Show in Muswellbrook. After Pandemic woes one year and being flooded the next everyone was looking forward to a great time – and we got a heat wave. 38 Degrees on Saturday!
The display was in the “Energy Hub” amongst industrial heavy weights like AGL, AusGrid and Bengalla Mine as well as solar installers and Hunter Renewal.
On Friday the school teachers tried to steer the children away from things like cars, but we got one good quote
“Do you have a Bugatti? They are the fastest in the world…. there are five models……”
On Saturday lots of kids with stars in their eyes when they sat in a Tesla for the first time. An impressive number of adults who knew about EVs and one whose son is working on building superchargers. Quote of the show “I want a real car with a real engine….the Holden V8 is the best…..”
