TOCA (ACT) members hit the road on Sunday 20 November 2022 starting from the Tesla Superchargers at Piallago.  Braving the inclement weather, the convoy of Teslas travelled up the Federal Highway to the Weereewa Lookout overlooking Lake George where the crew watched the Wind Turbines producing sustainable energy for the region.  We were amazed that the virtual gale force winds did not spin the turbines off their stands!!

After a short chat about the view and turbines, we decide to avoid becoming human sails and returned to our cars where we journeyed to Bungendore.  With an hour or so to spare, we perused the Bungendore Wood Shop, the Leather works, and the Bungendore town park where the kids enjoyed the play sets.

At the Carrington Inn's Flock Restaurant, we enjoyed the wonderful historical surrounds of an era gone by while dining on Ribs, Scotch Fillet Stake, pasta and pizzas.  The Flock staff were amazing. The kids enjoyed the giant chess set and the meandering path through the gardens.

After lunch, we departed back to Canberra travelling the Kings Hwy where we said our good-byes.

A lovely afternoon, plenty of time to spare, and nothing rushed.  The only complaint - our over-full stomachs from the amazing food.

Cheers

Ross
