VIC Mornington Peninsula Cruise

8th February 2024
By Chris Quin
25 Teslas and 50 keen people enjoyed a sunny Summer's day on the Mornington Pensinsula in early February.

It was an impressive sight when 25 Teslas congregated at a cafe in the south of Melbourne, as we prepared for a mystery cruise to the Mornington Pensinula.

We had a fantastic collection of cars, ranging from a 2015 Model S to the latest Highland Model 3. There was great diversity in the membership who attended as well, from someone who joined three days prior, to TOCA Member #2.

While the number of traffic lights and turns caused a few issues initially, we all met up after an hour to make sure nobody had got lost. Then it was off to the beautiful seaside town of Flinders for a break and an ice cream.

We then weaved through some great roads and hills, passing Arthur's Seat and meeting at the Portsea Surf Beach for photos and videos of all of cars and keen participants together.

For those who were interested (and who could find a park), we finished with lunch in the beer garden of the picturesque Portsea Hotel.

The feedback has been excellent and many members are keen for our next cruise.
