Soar and Roar

Soar and Roar is an event which has been run by the Special Olympics organisation to raise funds for and awareness of the Special Olympics program and allow a fun day out for the athletes and their families.

TOCA offered to form a Tesla team for the event to join teams formed of other sports or enthusiast vehicles.

Our team of 20 cars met our athletes outside ANZ stadium at Sydney Olympic Park before taking them on a "Dream Drive" to Sydney Motorsport park for the main event.

After a parade and opening ceremony we initially put the cars on static display before a series of laps of the track with athletes getting the ride of their life!

Everyone that took part found the day both fun and very fulfilling and as a team we raised the second most amount of funds of any team for the charity.

This is defintely something that we plan to repeat again in 2019 - watch this space!
